At Purebred Dachshund Puppies, we are committed to the lifelong health and well-being of every Dachshund puppy we raise and place in loving homes. Our return and refund policy is designed to ensure transparency, protect our puppies, and provide complete peace of mind to our buyers.

Refund Policy

Health-Related Refund (Within 7 Days of Purchase)

If your Dachshund puppy is examined by a licensed veterinarian within 7 days of receiving the puppy and is found to be:

Unhealthy,
Diagnosed with a genetic condition not disclosed at the time of sale, or
Inconsistent with the health records provided,

you are eligible for a full refund.

Refunds will be processed within 3–5 business days after we receive and verify the veterinary report.

For a replacement puppy, any genetic condition must be confirmed in writing by two licensed veterinarians from separate clinics.

Change-of-Circumstance Return (Within 90 Days)

If, within the first 90 days, you are unable to care for your Dachshund puppy due to unexpected life circumstances (such as relocation, medical issues, or housing changes), you may return the puppy for a full refund.

Before issuing a refund:

A veterinary health examination will be conducted at our expense
The puppy must be in good health
There must be no signs of neglect or improper care

If the puppy is found to be unwell due to poor care, environmental changes, or improper diet, the refund will not be approved.

After 90 Days

Refunds are not available after 90 days for reasons related to the buyer’s ability to care for the puppy.

However, we strongly encourage you to contact us—we are always willing to assist with safe and responsible rehoming options to ensure your Dachshund finds a suitable home.

Return Shipping Responsibilities

If returning the puppy within 90 days due to personal circumstances, the buyer is responsible for all return shipping costs.
We will cover return shipping only if a veterinary examination within the first 7 days confirms a health issue or genetic condition as outlined above.

To request a return or refund:

Complete the Return Request Form on our website
We will review your request within 24–48 hours
Once approved and verified (if required), your refund will be processed within 3–5 business days
